French-language fortnight in Vienna

For the 5th consecutive year, Vienna's Votiv Cinema (Votivkino) is hosting its annual festival of French-language films (14-27 March 2003). The programme includes 24 films from Egypt, Belgium, Burkina Faso, France, Canada, Marocco, Romania, Switzerland and Tunisia. The programme also includes the Night of Short films scheduled for 15 March featuring 8 films. Special highlights include the screening of the restored version of Jacques Tati's Playtime and Idrissa Ouedraogo's Yaaba, the Festival will pay tribute to French director Jean Paul Civeyrac.
