), Aure Atika, and Canadian actress Anne-Marie Cadieux.

In the film’s screenplay, written by the director, Victor (Zacharie Chasseriaud) has come to live in Québec with his mother (Aure Atika) after his father’s death a year earlier in France, and is unhappy. One day, he inadvertently witnesses a teenager’s suicide. On the school’s roof, he tries to stop François from jumping off... but, surprised by his intervention, François loses his balance, falls, and crashes to the ground below. Coming to terms with this fatal gesture will help Victor to find his place in this new setting, bring him closer to his mother, and alleviate the pain of his father’s death.
