).

Written by the director with Clément Michel, Hélène le Gal (who wrote the original idea), Manon Dillys, and Marie Foucart-Pavlenko, the screenplay focuses on Rose (Marilou Berry), 25, who only has one idea in mind: to make up with Mickaël, her 11-year-old son from whom she has been seperated for a few years. But it is no easy task. When Rose discovers Mickaël’s passion, she thinks that she has found a way to break the ice. She is going to set up a catch wrestling team with her three check-out girl colleagues...

Produced by Antoine Rein and Fabrice Goldstein for Karé Productions, Les Reines du ring benefits from co-productions with La Petite Reine (main producer) and M6 Films, as well as pre-sales to Canal + and Ciné+. Filming will take 51 days and will finish in mid-June in the Ile-de-France and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Warner will be in charge of the film’s distribution in France.
