Nine French productions at Tribeca

What an artistic delegation accompanying French films to the 11th Tribeca Film Festival, on since today under the guidance of its new artistic director Frédéric Boyer (read more)! None other than Juliette Binoche, Marjane Satrapi, Maïwenn, Julie Delpy, CédricKahn, Frédéric Jardin, and Tomer Sisley will attend the event in New York to represent the nine French feature films (of which seven will be screened in an American premiere) out of the 82 films selected this year for the festival.
Franco-Qatari film The Virgin, the Copts and Me by Namir Abdel Messeeh, discovered at the Panorama of the last Berlinale, will be screened as part of the documentary film competition.
