Locarno will pay tribute to Arnon Milchan

The Raimondo Rezzonico Prize of the 65th Locarno Film Festival - which every year recognises the bravery and talent of an independent producer - will be awarded to Arnon Milchan.

Born in Israel, this son of a modest entrepreneur had made his fortune in the food industry before going into the film industry. He has since produced Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America, Martin Scorsese's The King of Comedy as well as Terry Gilliam's cult film, Brazil.These three films will also be screened on Locarno's Piazza Grande at the 65th edition of the Locarno Film Festival, taking place on 1-11 August.
