Israel meets Palestine through film

What role can cinema play in stemming the climate of escalating violence in the Middle East and the tension that is part-and-parcel of the everyday lives of the Israeli and Palestinian communities? The films selected for this event include Un ticket pour Jérusalem by Rachid Masharawi (Palestine), La Maison by Amos Gitaï (Israel), Ma’aloul fête sa destruction by Michel Khleifi (Palestine).
