La Demora gets Motovun Propeller, Clip wins Bauer Award

- At the 14th Motovun Film Festival, Clip won the Bauer Award for best regional film, and the main Motovun Propeller award went to La Demora

won the Bauer Award for best film from the countries of the former Yugoslavia in theatrical distribution between June 2011 and June 2012. The winner of the Bauer Award is a result of a two-round voting process, which includes film critics and professionals from each of the countries, and besides Clip, the finalists were Nejc Gazvoda's A Trip from Slovenia and Branko Schmidt's Cannibal Vegetarian [+see also:

The Bauer Award includes €5,000 in cash and €10,000 in production services from Slovenia's Teleking.

, while Dutch director Dan Geesin's Elephant Feet won the short film competition.

This year's honorary Motovun Maverick award, celebrating independence, non-conformity and auteur vision, was presented to British director Terence Davies.
