by Ali Aydin, the Turkish-German film in competition at the Venice International Film Festival in theInternational Film Critic’s Week.

The film, sold by MPM Films, is the first feature film by the director who was born in Istanbul in 1981. It tells the story of Basri, a 55 year old man who works hard as a railway guard, whose only thought is to find his son who mysteriously disappeared ten years earlier as a student at the University of Istanbul and was arrested by the police for anti-government activities.
