, director Gabriela Pichler (news)’s first feature length film premiered on September 3 during the 69th edition of the Venice Film Festival.

On Friday, Pichler’s film was announced as the winner of the prestigious Critics’ Week award. The winner is voted for by the festival’s own spectators. Seven films were in the running from every corner of the world.
