Gilmartin said, “I’m hugely excited to embark on this new role at the Irish Film Board, and look forward to working with James, the rest of the Film Board team, and the fantastic pool of creative talent the Irish film industry possesses.”

The IFB is seeking to engage two other Project Managers in addition to Gilmartin by early 2013. They will manage projects across all genres from the initial concept and development stage right through production financing to cinema release and other exhibition to Irish and international audiences. This structure will provide multiple access points for applicants who will have the option to approach any one of the three Project Managers with development or production applications for their projects.
