The Golden Pram for best documentary went to Rob Stewart's Slaughter Nick for President from Canada. The director used to be the main actor of the 90s TV series Tropical Heat, a huge hit in the war-torn Serbia of the time. Twenty years later, he discovers that he is a living legend in the country and visits it, receiving a welcome usually reserved for the biggest stars.

Israeli director Tamar Tal's Life in Stills received a special mention in the documentary category. The film tells a story of a photo shop owner and her grandson who join forces to save the shop and nearly one million negatives that document Israel's defining moments. Life in Stills previously won the Talent Dove award at the Leipzig DOK Festival.

The best short film award also went to Israel, to Shay Levi's Return. Polish director Bartłomiej Żmuda received a special mention for The Barbican.

In the Checkers programme, dedicated to short films by young Croatian film-makers, best film was awarded to Hana Jušić's Terrarium, while Ivan Sikavica's Babysitter received a special mention.
