Christine Rabette's Belgian feature, Merci (Thank-you) won the Audience Award at the Amsterdam Short Film Festival. Produced by Artémis Productions together with the French-Belgian Film and Audiovisual Centre and a number of Walloon distributors, Merci stars Jan Hammenecker and is the story of a man who catches a trolley bus in a big city and ends up re-organising the entire transport system.
Merci won the jury Grand Prix and the Audience Awards at the "Itinérances" film festival of Alès in 2003.
