Red carpet for I Am Dina in Paris

The French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin will attend the charity gala premiere of Ole Bornedal’s I Am Dina [+see also:

on 31 March at the new MK2 Bibliotheque cinema situated in the prestigious Bibliothèque François Mitterand.
The film’s protagonists, Gérard Depardieu and Maria Bonnevie, writer Herbjørg Wassmo, producers Per Holst and Axel Helgeland and Steffen Kragh, the head of Egmont/Nordisk Filmswill also attend the event organised by French distributor SND in collaboration with the Norwegian Embassy in Paris.
On 1 April, the Norwegian Embassy will continue its I am Dina celebration with the screening of the film for 400 guests, followed by a cello concert by German soloist, Maris Kliegel, who played on the film’s soundtrack.
I am Dina will be released in France on 9 April onto 80 screens while Gaïa Presse are planning a special reprint of an extra 10,000 copies (on top of the 25,000 already sold) of Herbjorg Wassmo’s book on which the film is based. I am Dina was seen by over 630,000 Scandinavians and licensed to some 70 territories around the world.
