Danish actor brothers Mads and Lars Mikkelsen are up against each other in the competition for Denmark’s Bodil Award, which the Danish Critics’ Association will present on March 16 at Copenhagen’s Bremen Theatre. , Lotte Svendsen’s Max Pinlig på Roskilde and A Caretaker’s Tale all got one.

Arcel’s fourth feature, which has sold 530,000 tickets domestically, won two Silver Bears at last year’s Biennale for Best Original Screenplay (Arcel, Rasmus Heisterberg) and Best Actor (Mikkel Bo Følsgaard). Also ominated for a Golden Globe, the Zentropa Entertainments production has joined the short-list for an Oscar nomination as Best Foreign-Language Feature.
