film profile], he is now tackling a romantic ghost comedy. Former novelist Paul (Stéphane Guillon - photo) has resorted to writing obituaries for well-heeled clients. When he meets Emma (Julie Gayet), a young widow, she asks him to talk about her deceased husband to Adam, her 8-year-old son, too young to have really known his father. When romance begins to blossom between Emma and Paul, the husband, Nathan (Jonathan Zaccaï), suddenly returns from the dead.

The film marks the return of Stéphane Guillon to the big screen (after the discreet The Time of the Charity Fête is over [+see also:

film profile] in 2010). Today best-known for his career as a TV comedian and troublemaker, he won his first spurs as an actor at the end of the 90s and in the early 2000s. At his side, we find Belgian actress Julie Gayet (who finally gets to film in Belgium) and the very essential Jonathan Zaccaï, with an appearance put in by Pierre Richard. French writer François Uzan signs the scenario and Lannoo is reunited with his accomplice Vincent Van Gelder as director of photography.

The shooting, which begins today in Luxembourg, will proceed through France and Belgium, and should be completed in late February. The movie is being produced by Artemis, which is teaming up with Lanoo for the first time, Samsa Film (Luxembourg), Liaison Cinématographique and Nord Ouest Films (France), with a budget of 3.6 million euros.  The film has received the support of the CCA and FilFund. Scheduled for the end of 2013, it will be distributed by Cinéart in Belgium and Rezo in France.
