Nick Nevern commences The Hooligan Factory

Actor/director Nick Nevern (photo) has commenced principal photography at London and 3 Mills and Elstree Studios for football hooligan spoof The Football Factory. Nevern has co-written the film with Michael Lindley, with Jason Maza (Welcome to the Punch) playing the lead. Tom Burke (Cleanskin) and Josef Altin (Comes A Bright Day [+see also:

) co-star and the film also features cameos by Leo Gregory (Green Street), Tony Denham (The Football Factory), Dexter Fletcher (Wild Bill) and reformed football hooligan Cass Pennant.

Danny (Maza) wants something more. Expelled from school and living in his grandfather's flat, he longs to live up to the image of his estranged father Danny Senior. Meanwhile legendary football hooligan Bex (Nevern) is about to be released from prison and is on a quest of his own, one of vengeance against his nemesis and rival firm leader Yeti.  When Danny and Bex’s paths, a tempestuous journey begins.
