The heroine is Nora, a 50 year-old woman from Madrid who has been living in Barcelona for 35 years. One day, her door bell rings and she finds herself face-to-face with a dark-skinned 10 year-old called Ismael, who introduces himself as her nephew. Together, they go on a quest to find the boy’s father, Felix, setting off on a trip which will enable all the characters to settle theirs scores with the past.
The cast brings together some of the most popular actors in Spanish cinama: Belén Rueda, Mario Casas, Sergi López and Juan Diego Botto. They play opposite Ella Kweku and the young Larsson do Amaral.
Besides Zeta and Atresmedia, the production department of the private network Antena 3 has joined the project, which guarentees the movie good visibility at the time of its release. The support of a private channel is more and more crucial for a Spanish film to be a significant commercial success, which is shown by the fact that each year Telecinco and Antena 3 share the quasi-totality of profits from Spanish cinema.
As for Zeta Cinema, it is an important player in Spanish cinema with a commercial vocation. We owe it several successful movies, especially adaptations targeting a younger audience, such as Mortadelo and Filemon: Mission - Save the Planet [+see also:
