EuroShorts offers 20,000 euros to the winning filmmaker to produce a European short film

- The jury of the competition on the theme “Europe – a never ending journey” is presided by British filmmaker Sir Alan Parker.

European filmmakers have until May 13th, 2013 to submit their proposals for a 3-minute film as part of a competition organized by the European Travel Commission and Screen SouthEuroShorts, which is the name of the competition, calls for the most inspirational submissions on the theme “Europe – a Never Ending journey”. 

The future director of the best project will receive 20,000 euros as well as a first-class InteRail pass for the production team. They will have the opportunity to travel across Europe to film their project, which will be promoted internationally.

The competition is open to fiction, documentary and animation.

The jury is composed of Screen South’s President, Graham Benson, Wallimage’s Director Philippe Reynaert, and will be presided by British filmmaker Sir Alan Parker.
