Just like the pouring rain on the Croisette, the stream of announcements of new projects in production and in vendors' line-ups didn't let up for French companies on the fourth day of the Film Market at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.

film profile]) will film Retour à Itaca (Vuelta a Itaca) in Cuba, with a screenplay co-written with Leonardo Padura. Its production will be handled by Full House.
Chapter 2 has revealed the ambitious project Saint-Exupéry (photo), a biopic in English on the famous French aviator, author and poet, who disappeared in 1944. Its direction will most certainly be entrusted to an American filmmaker (negotiations are underway). The film will be coproduced by Orange Studio and Pathé (which will handle distribution in France and supervise international sales).
