Villari-McFarlane to brave The Silent Storm

BIFA-nominated writer/director Corinna Villari-McFarlane (Three Miles North Of Molkom [+see also:

) will begin principal photography on June 23 at the Isle of Mull, Scotland on The Silent Storm. Andrea Riseborough (photo) stars as an enigmatic outsider living on a wild and remote Scottish island caught between her husband (Damian Lewis), and a 17 year-old delinquent (Ross Anderson).

Nicky Bentham (Moon) produces for Neon Films, alongside Eon Productions’ Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who will executive produce with Marc Samuelson (Arlington Road), Steve Milne (The King’s Speech [+see also:

). West End Films is handling international sales. Corniche Pictures, Eon Productions, British Film Company, HW Buffalo and New Sparta are financing the picture with support from Film Agency for Wales.
