- Sindre Guldvog will replace Nina Refseth as managing director of the Norwegian Film Institute, while head of production Ivar Køhn leaves to run NRK's TV Drama

In a management reshuffle, the Norwegian Film Institute will shortly chang its top leaders - former head of Cappelen and Bonnier Norge Publishing Sindre Guldvog (photo) will replace Nina Refseth, after her six-year contract expires at the end of 2013, according to the Norwegian Culture Ministry.

At the same time, the institute will be looking for a new executive director of production and development, after Ivar Køhn has been appointed new chief of TV Drama at Norwegian pubcaster NRK. He will leave the institute on October 1.

"With Guldvog we have a sharp leader, who can continue Refseth's good work. His long experience in the culture industry, film distribution and his knowledge of technological developments in culture media will be important in the challenges the film area will face in the future," said Culture Minister Hadia Tajik.

Refseth also came from publishing (Det norske samlaget) - Guldvog, who currently runs his own consulting agency advising the media industry on new technology, has also been on the board of the Norwegian Publishers' Association, SF Norge, SF Kino and Bonnier Multimedia.

At NRK TV Drama, which is about to implement "a new strategy plan and editorial restructuring", Køhn will replace Hans Rossiné. Before he was enrolled by the Norwegian Film Institute in 2006, first as a film consultant, Køhn worked for both NRK Drama and Sweden's SVT Drama; as an independent film producer he signed, among others, Norwegian director Petter Næss' award-winning Elling (2001).
