Euro Mediterranean Coproduction Forum: 4th edition

- The forum will take place in Brindisi (Italy) between October 24 – 26 2013. Deadline: August 31, 2013

The Apulia Film Commission Foundation, in collaboration with the Apulia Region, will organize the 4th Euro Mediterranean Coproduction Forum between October 24 – 26 2013 in Brindisi (Italy).

The aim of the Euro Mediterranean Coproduction Forum is to support film projects linked to the Mediterranean region, enhancing meetings and partnerships amongst operators of the field, allowing participants to work together within a Forum in order to discuss and present their projects with the opportunity of “testing them” in their development stage by coming into contact with potential co-financers. In short, a precious verification which will help them in the further steps of production.

Meetings amongst producers, film commissioners and experts will be held, with the aim of fostering the coproduction processes and an exchange of best practices in order to improve the operative modalities of the professionals involved in the Forum.

The participating projects, selected by Alberto La Monica and the Apulia Film Commission, are presented by their producers with the “one to one meetings” formula. These projects are all partially financed and “almost ready” as far as screenplay and organization are concerned, and  are looking for further financing.

Production Companies from any country can apply with a film project as long as it is: a feature-length fiction, TV series, or documentary (short and medium length projects will not be accepted); at a development stage (projects at a shooting stage will not be accepted); contains elements in the plot linked to the Mediterranean area and at least 20% of the budget is secured.
