Maja Dyekjær Giese has been appointed promotion manager for feature films at the Danish Film Institute (DFI). She succeeds Jimmy Bredow Petersen who is now responsible for Egmmont-Nordisk Film’s distribution arm, Constantin Film.
Maja Dyekjær Giese, who will take up her new position on 1 April, was already employed by the DFI as a marketing consultant in the Production Department. Reporting to Anders Geertsen, the Head of the Distribution and Marketing Department, Giese will also assist Danish producers and distributors with the domestic release of their films, contribute to the DFI’s support schemes for art-house cinemas, import quality films and promote Danish films at international festivals.
