South Baltic countries to get into the spirit of things
- Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden given the opportunity to take part in a competition promoting cross-border co-operation

To celebrate the forthcoming European Co-operation Day 2013, filmmakers from the South Baltics (Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden) are being given the opportunity to ‘Catch The Vibe of the South Baltic’ in a short film competition.
Aimed at promoting cross-border co-operation in the region, it is hoped that the competition will inspire filmmakers to create unique works that capture the spirit of the South Baltics. Aside from giving the participants the opportunity to win prizes, the winning films will also be screened during a large transnational conference concerning co-operation in South Baltic states. It’s hoped that the screening of the films will bring the importance of funding audio-visual material in the area to the attention of policy and decision makers in the film and cultural sector as they allocate funds for 2014-2020.
More information on the video competition can be found here, while the direct link to the competition is here.
