by Gianfranco Rosi, the French cinematographic industry once more demonstrates its international influence. Coproduced at 50% by France via Parisian company La Femme Endormie (Caroline Solive), the documentary (the first to win the ultimate award at the Mostra) was pre-purchased by Ciné+ and backed by the CNC, Angoa, Procirep and the FIDLab. International sales will be handled by Daniela Elstner for Doc & Film.

French international sellers (now working until September 15 in Toronto) can be very satisfied by the overall Venetian winners’ list with notably Elle Driver negotiating for the controversial Greek feature Miss Violence [+see also:
