 by Pascale Breton whose shoot will start again in Rennes and the Finistère region for three weeks in November, then three more in January before ending in April. This is the director’s second feature after Illumination, Best Screenplay award at the 2004 Turin Film Festival and KNF Award in 2005 in Rotterdam. The cast features Valérie Dréville (photo – an actress much appreciated in theatre productions and recently noticed in cinema with De bon matin [+see also:

Written by the director (who won many awards for her shorts and medium length films such as La Huitième nuit and Les Filles du douze), the screenplay of Suite armoricaine follows an academic year at the Rennes 2 university, for two characters whose paths meet: Françoise, an art historian, and Yoan, a geography student. Running away from their ghosts, they ignore their common past...

Produced by Paul Rozenberg for Zadig Films>Suite armoricaine is coproduced by Sylicone and benefits from an advance on receipts from the CNC, backing from the Bretagne region and the Sofica Indéfilms. The filming is scheduled to last 40 days in total. The French distribution will be handled by Epicentre Films, and international sales are still being negotiated.

On November 27, Zadig Films will release (via Haut et Court Distribution) the documentary Comment j'ai détesté les maths by Olivier Peyon. The company, which won at the César 2013 for Best Documentary (Les invisibles [+see also:
