The Tofifest rewards The Girl from the Wardrobe
- Bodo Kox’s film triumphs at the festival organized in Toruń. Life Feels Good wins the competitive section dedicated to Polish films
Polish productions dominate the winners’ list of the International Tofifest Festival, which ended on Sunday in Toruń. The Golden Angel of the Official Competition “On Air” went to director Bodo Kox and producer Wlodzimierz Niderhaus (WFDiF) for The Girl from the Wardrobe [+see also:

With The Girl from the Wardrobe, Bodo Kox moved from “off cinema” to the traditional circuit of theatres and underlined this fact when he received his prize and thanked the Tofifest: "This festival and I have grown together. When it was still a festival for independent films, I was here as an independent director. Now, Tofifest is a high class international festival, which makes me even happier to have received this Golden Angel.”
The Silver Angel for Best Director rewarded Cuban director Carlos Machado Quintela for The Swimming Pool, a feature coproduced by Spain.
The title for Best Film in the competitive section “From Poland” went to Maciej Pieprzyca for Life Feels Good [+see also:
