Cannes will pay tribute to the late great Italian film director, Federico Fellini on the tenth anniversary of his death. Together with Cinecittà Holding and Mediaset, who restored nine of Fellini's films to their original grandeur, they have organised a wide-ranging retrospective of some 20 of his most significant features, short films and TV adverts. Although the definitive programme has yet to be announced, it is known that a keynote speaker at sidebar events that include round-table discussions about the man and his art, and book presentations, will be Cinecittà President, Pupi Avati.
