Belfast’s Cinemagic Film and Television Festival for Young People hosted its annual Cinemagic Gala Awards Ceremony and Kari Juusonen and Jorgen Lerdam’s Niko 2: Little Brother Big Trouble [+see also:

film profile] won the Emerald Star Award for the Best Feature Film for a Children’s Audience. BAFTA Award-winning film producer, Iain Smith OBE, (Children of Men, The A Team, Cold Mountain [+see also:

film profile] and the upcoming Mad Max movie Fury Road), received a lifetime achievement award from Cinemagic.
Other industry professionals who participated in the awards ceremony and hosted festival workshops included Oscar winning producer of The King’s Speech [+see also:
