After one month as production chief at Swedish major, Svensk Filmindustri (SF), former manager of production funding and promotion at the Swedish Film Institute Charlotte Denward has been promoted to be head of the company’s restructured production division, also including the newly-acquired Tre Vänner outfit.
Denward will be responsible for all Svensk Filmindustri and Tre Vänner feature film television and web productions in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, as well as all co-productions with independent companies in the region.
“Co-productions are very important to us - working with different companies and producers provides us with possibilities and a diversity we do not have in-house. We will also be able to increase the collaboration between Nordic countries, which is a big advantage, especially from a creative point of view,” Denward explained.
