by Danish director Lars von Trier shines with its sombre light amongst only six European films scheduled for release to end 2013 and enter 2014. Co-produced by Parisian company Slot Machine and Arte France Cinéma with Denmark, Germany and Belgium, the film will bet on Charlotte Gainsbourg in the lead to attract French spectators. As a reminder, the record for von Trier’s films in the French box-office is held by the Palme d’Or Dancer in The Dark (1.17 million admissions in 2000), way ahead of Breaking the Waves (640,000 admissions in 1996), Melancholia [+see also:
