5 nominees for the 2014 César & Techniques awards
- AGM Factory, Binocle 3D, La Compagnie Générale des Effets Visuels, Technicolor Entertainment Services France and Transpalux will be competing

Created in 2011 to shed the spotlight on a sector often left in the dark but nevertheless essential to the activities and good running of French cinema, the Trophy César & Techniques 2014 awarded by the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques will be given out next Monday, January 6.
The five technical companies of the cinema industry competing for the 2014 trophy are AGM Factory, Binocle 3D, La Compagnie Générale des Effets Visuels, Technicolor Entertainment Services France and Transpalux. These companies were pre-selected by the Committee for Technical Industries of the Academy amongst companies having taken part in at least one feature film eligible for the César for Best Film of the year.
The Trophy César & Techniques is aimed at highlighting the value of companies whose strategies have emphasized the preservation and development of permanent employment in France, technological innovation, the backing of cinematographic creation and an eco-sustainable approach. For the past two years, the prize went to Mikros Images.
It is also worth noting that the nominations for the “classic” 2014 César awards (Best Film, Actor, Actress, etc) will be unveiled on January 31, the awards ceremony having been scheduled for February 28.
