The 16th session of investment of Wallimage/Bruxellimage just selected 4 very different projects. Unsurprisingly, we find Les Chevaliers Blancs, the next film by Joachim Lafosse, inspired by the Arche de Zoé case, which led to the arrest of the members of a humanitarian operation aiming to extract 103 orphans from Chad to France, after it turned out many of the children in fact had parents. Once more, Lafosse questions the way in which hell can sometimes be filled with people with good intentions. The Belgian director will be surrounding himself with a top-notch cast (Vincent Lindon, Valérie Donzelli, Emilie Dequenne, Reda Kateb, Yannick Renier, Catherine Salée and Stéphane Bissot), for a filming period of over 40 days, which will mostly take place in the Moroccan desert. The film is managed by Versus Production.

Back in Brussels, we discover Black, a project initiated in Flanders by Caviar, but filmed in French by the completely bilingual and allochthonous directors Adil El Arbi and Billall Fallah (Wildcard of the VAF). Black tells the complicated love story between Mavela, a member of the Black Bronx gang, and Marwan, from a rival gang. The film, which will be played by actors from Brussels casted on the ground, will be shot this summer in the capital.

The fund will also back Le Choix de Peindre, a documentary by Henry de Gerlache produced by Alizé, which tells the story of an unknown episode in the life of Vincent Van Gogh, an evangelization mission amongst miners of the Mons Borinage region.

Finally, between urban legend and conspiracy theory, Moonwalkers [+see also:
