The Nisimasa association has organised the 12th competition for young European screenwriters, an event that is supported by the EU’s "Youth and Culture" programme and aimed at non-professional writers aged between 18 and 26.
This year’s given subject is "Frontiers" and the deadline for submissions is 15 September 2003.
The countries taking part this year are Germany, Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Lituania, Poland, Portugal and the United Kingdom and two screenwriters will be chosen from each for the Grand Finale scheduled to take place in Italy in December. Each finalist will receive a purse of Euros4000.
