POST-PRODUCTION Ireland

The Farm consolidates its position

by

Ireland’s biggest post-production facility, The Farm, has entered ‘Phase 2’ of its development strategy which will see more investment in its systems, technology and talent to maximise its effectiveness and make the company more competitive on the international markets.
“This second phase further consolidates our position in the advertising and media production sectors and fully endorses the focus and direction of the company,” said The Farm’s CEO Bobby O’Reilly. “The forecast increase in US and European business has exceeded expectations and has brought forward the requirement for phase 2 facilities and development.”
As part of its internal restructuring, the Dublin-based company appointed Tony O’Connor (a former director of RTE TV facilities) as the new managing director and promoted Mark Nolan from Director of Video to Group Creative Director. The Farm now employs more than 65 people either full or part-time and post-production facilities at the Dublin headquarters contain 20 suites, ranging from audio, to video graphics, while the Los Angeles branch consists of three audio and three video suites.
Last year, The Farm Media Group invested over €7m (Euros10.253m) in new technology and creative expertise.
