A new Dutch action film entitled Adrenaline, directed by Roel Reiné, was released in Holland on 10 April and seen by just 600 people during its first weekend at a time when the top new entry attracted close to 90,000 filmgoers.
Adrenaline stars Georgina Verbaan and Jason Fijal and is an extremely spectacular action film that was made on location in South Africa. Produced by Rebel Films, it was made with a tiny budget of just Euros750,000 amd is very much a one-man effort since as well as co-writing and directing it, Roel Reinè also produced and photographed it. Distributed by A-Film Distribution, Adrenaline is about the mysterious disappearance of a girl called Freya, whom the police suspect was been murdered by her best friend, Jason.
