According to our sources, on Monday 10 March, shooting will begin for Jamais de la vie! (Not on Your Life!), the 15th feature film by Pierre Jolivet. The filmmaker has been nominated twice for the César for Best Original Screenplay (for Force majeure and Ma petite entreprise) and presented Zim and Co [+see also:

at the Cannes Un Certain Regard section in 2005. Heading up the cast of his new film are Belgian actor Olivier Gourmet (who won Best Actor at Cannes in 2002, and was nominated for the César for Best Actor in 2012 for The Minister [+see also:

in 2012), Jamais de la vie! is being co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and by Belgian firms Panache Productions and Compagnie Cinématographique Européenne. As well as having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the movie is also being backed by Sofica Palatine Etoile and La Banque Postale Image. The seven-week shoot will take place in the Ile-de-France region. Distribution in France will be handled by Ad Vitam and international sales by Indie Sales.
