film profile] by Bodo Kox won the award for best foreign film at the RIFF - Rome Independent Film Festival, which thirteenth edition came to a close on Sunday, March 23 with a record attendance and box-office revenue. Among the Italian feature length films, Sogni di gloria [+see also:

The 2014 RIFF Awards were overseen by an international jury including the likes of Ania Trzebiatowska (Off Plus Camera in Krakow), Sesto Cifola (Lion Pictures International), Elizabeth Missland (foreign press, former president of the Italian Golden Globes) and Maurizio di Rienzo (reporter and cinema critic – Italian short selection Nastri d’argento).
Awards for independent cinema, which total value is around €50,000, have been attributed to the following pieces of work, among the 100 films presented from 40 countries:
