Eye on Films gears up for Cannes
- The global network is preparing a varied line-up of films for the upcoming Cannes Film Market
Now in its fourth year, Eye on Films (EOF) is readying its line-up for the upcoming Cannes Film Market, which will take place from 14-23 May 2014 as part of the 67th Cannes Film Festival. The network continues to guarantee the circulation of a selection of first feature films in partner festivals in European and non-European countries, as well as their commercial exploitation.
The line-up’s new acquisitions that will be screened at the Cannes Film Market include Tomislav Mrsic’s comedy Cowboys [+see also:
film profile] (Croatia – winner of the Audience Award at the Pula Film Festival 2014), and horror thrillers The Man in the Orange Jacket [+see also:

film profile] (Bulgaria) by Martin Makariev. Natalie Saracco’s The Maneater [+see also:

film profile] (Serbia/Slovenia) and Tamar Van Den Dop’s Supernova [+see also:
film profile] (Netherlands/Germany/Belgium – selected in the Berlinale’s Generation Section) will be the three dramas present in the line-up, which will also include documentaries Anna’s Gate (France) by Patrick Dumont and François Hébrard, and N – The Madness of Reason [+see also:
film profile] (Belgium/Netherlands/Germany – selected in the Berlinale’s Forum Section) by Peter Krüger.
EOF’s selection has also shone the spotlight on US titles Golden Kingdom by Brian Perkin and Before You Know It, a documentary by PJ Raval. The network also has four other forthcoming films in its line-up: Mikel Rueda’s A escondidas [+see also:
film profile] (Spain), Jerôme Jacob’s The Cradle of Shadows (France), Tala Hadid’s The Narrow Frame of Midnight (Morocco/France/UK – still in post-production) and Pavle Vuckovic’s Panama (Serbia – still shooting).
