by Cineuropa
- The Paris cross-media event (19-20 June) announces its programme of conferences, keynotes and workshops

The Cross Video Days, the first professional cross-media market in Europe, has unveiled the programme for its fifth edition, which will be held in Paris on 19 and 20 June. The event is intended for innovative digital producers and creators who wish to bridge the funding gap of their multi-platform projects at an advanced stage of development, and increase their audience. This year, Cineuropa is a partner of the event, where we will be reporting live from the conferences and panels, and meeting the organisers, speakers and project leaders involved in the market and the pitching sessions.
The conferences will be one of the highlights of the event’s programme, gathering together renowned figures from the audiovisual industry. On 19 June, Upian’s Alexandre Brachet, Melange’s Michel Reilhac and POV Digital’s Adnaan Wasey will participate in the Multi-platform storytelling serving the audience conference; Digiteka’s Charles Ganem, Vice’s Benjamin Lassale, Warner Bros’ Michael Nathan and Rue89’s Xavier de la Porte will lead the All broadcasters on the web? conference; and BBC News’ Amanda Farnsworth, Canal+’s Fabienne Fourquet, Channel 4’s Adam Gee and DR’s Anders Kappel will speak at When TV turns digital. On 20 June, Studio Bagel’s Lorenzo Benedetti, Base 79’s Mathieu Luquet and Google’s David Ripert will be assembled for the YouTube, a new Eldorado? Panel; Vodkaster’s Cyril Barthet, Viewster’s Robert Franke and Canal Play/Canal Infinity’s Patrick Holzman will talk about SVOD: What evolutions to create a revolution?; and Brainpop Français’ Jennifer Elbaz, RAI Educational’s Markus Nikel and Canopé’s Jean-Marc Merriaux will discuss Learning in the digital age.
Besides the 21 projects selected for pitching (check their details here), the event will also feature debates and meetings in order to offer a unique opportunity to learn from experts in digital technologies, French and international channel representatives, heads of web platforms specialised in broadcasting, pure players, MCN (Multi Channel Network) and so on.
Don’t miss the date and the opportunity to meet Cineuropa in Paris.
