12/08/2014 - The Bosnian festival’s professional platform has also announced the selection of three new projects in its co-production market

Four days before it kicks off, the Sarajevo Film Festival’s Work in Progress sessions (20-21 August) have announced the selected projects, comprising six feature films and one documentary film. They are as follows:

The seven selected projects will vie for two awards: The Post Republic Award (worth €80,000 in kind post production services) and The Restart Award (worth €20,000 in kind support). In addition, CineLink, the development and financing platform for around 30 feature-length fiction films from Southern and Eastern Europe, open for co-production with the remaining European countries, and attended by around 500 industry professionals, has selected three additional guest projects for its Co-Production Market (20-23 August): House Without Roof (Irak, Germany), by Soleen Yussef; Operation: Baby (Mexico), by José Luis Valle, and To All Naked Man (Syria, The Netherlands), by Bassam Chekhes.
