Torre to work in the US

film profile], Italian film director Roberta Torre is back with two new projects. This winter she is scheduled to direct one episode of a seven-part ensemble film about what it means to be European, entitled De L’Europe - About Europe. The film is produced by Zor Films.
Towards the end of the summer, Torre will direct a feature film that is set in the 1980s and is about an Italo-American gambler. The film will be produced by the Rita Rusic Company and Torre is currently writing the screenplay with Massimo D’Anolfi.
Interviewed at the "Linea d'Ombra" Festival in Salerno, southern Italy, Torre said she had not yet decided who will play the main character.
