01/10/2014 - Taking place from 2-5 October in Segovia, Spain, 3D Wire’s sixth edition will host presentations for the most outstanding events in the animation, video-game and new-media sector

3D Wire is a macro project that brings together the production and distribution of the digital and international animation sectors in Segovia, Spain. The market, which takes place from 2-5 October, will feature presentations of different events.

For example, the event will kick off with the INNGAMES presentation - an event created for the development, promotion and regeneration of the industrial fabric of digital leisure, promoting the creation of employment, self-employment and training at all levels.

As a new feature, 3D Wire will be hosting the presentation of Bridging the Gap, Animation Lab. Bridging the Gap is an intensive seven-day workshop where young professionals and talented students have the chance to meet and forge relationships with influential professionals who are responsible for decision-making in the field of animation.

The Professional Associated Developers' Presentation will also be taking place – it will re-examine the I PAD Congress held last June in Barcelona as a showcase for the Spanish video-game industry while promoting high-quality know-how exchange and opportunities to meet with other developers and possible national and international investors. After that, the La Cambre Presentation will introduce the animation programme of the National Superior School of Visual Arts of Brussels, followed by the Short Films Contest SUMMA3D Presentation – SUMMA3D is a contest for 3D animated short films for students, professionals and talented young people; it aims to publicise and support new talents in Spanish animation.
