Producers Peter Hiltunen et Johan Fälemark, who are attached to Swedish production slate, Illusion Film, are the winners of the fifth edition of the Golden Hat, an awarded presented by Swedish film publication, Filmkonst.
The jury of Jannike Åhlund and Magnus Telander, respectively the artistic director and an organiser of the Göteborg Film Festival, and Filmkonst journalist Camilla Larsson, rewarded Illusion for its energy in producing films in eastern Sweden”.
In 2002, Illusion, in partnership with fellow Swedish slates, Sonet Film and Film i Väst, were behind two features: Lejontämjaren (Strong as a lion) by Manne Lindwall and Tillfällig fru sökes (Seeeking temporary wife) by Lisa Ohlin. In partnership with Denmark’s Cosmo Film and Angel Production, Illusion also produced Midsommer (Midsummer) by Carsten Myllerup and Halalabad Blues by Helle Ryslinge.
