, which has just wrapped principal photography in Vilnius, Lithuania. Croze also stars in German director Wim WendersEverything Will Be Fine, due to open soon.

Finnish actor Mikko Nousiainen has another lead role in the romantic drama about a one-night stand between two strangers in Vilnius, which takes an unexpected turn when an ash cloud from a volcano prevents all flights from taking off. The cast also includes Spanish-French actress Arly Jover, who started her career in the US and has appeared in such titles as US director David Fincher’s remake of the Swedish Millennium opener, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo [+see also:

“By chance, a Finnish man and a French woman meet away from home, in a foreign country – they immediately connect, even though they don’t have a common language. Then they start finding out what they dislike about each other, and they decide to go their separate ways, but they realise they are stuck. What follows will change their lives forever,” Kuparinen explains.

Scripted by the director himself, 2 Nights till Morning is staged by Finnish producers Mikko Tenhunen and Marko Antila, of Helsinki-based Mjölk Movies, with Lithuanian producer Kestutis Drazdauskas, of Artbox in Vilnius. In addition to a couple of international award-winning shorts, including Sirocco (2012), Kuparinen directed the Finnish drama Mobile Horror (2010) and the romantic comedy Body Fat Index of Love [+see also:

(2012). Production of his new film will be completed in the spring.
