) and Nathalie Saugeon, the story revolves around 14-year-old Marwann, a teenager who is being totally ignored by Sygrid, whom he is head-over-heels in love with. Everything changes when the Arab Spring arrives and he reluctantly becomes the standard-bearer for the Jasmine Revolution. Clutching the very reins of history, Marwann lies, enjoys himself and exploits his charms until all his manipulation turns his parents’ feelings of belonging totally on their heads. While trapped in this downward spiral of lies, he explores love and his complex identity.

With production outsourced to Jérôme Dopffer for Les Productions Balthazar and Sébastien Haguenauer for 10:15 Productions!, My Revolution has a budget of €3.6 million, including a co-production by France 2 Cinéma. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the film is also backed by the CNC’s advance on receipts, the Ile-de-France region, and the Cofinova and Soficinéma Soficas. The eight-week shoot will take place in Paris and Tunis, with Dominique Colin serving as DoP. Distribution in France will be handled by Memento Films.
