Giorgio Gosetti appointed head of the Casa del Cinema in Rome
- The founder of the Courmayeur Noir in Festival will replace Caterina D'Amico

The Casa del Cinema e della Fiction has a new head: the mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, has appointed Giorgio Gosetti to the position. Gosetti – a journalist, critic, director of the Courmayeur Noir in Festival and the general delegate of the Venice Days at the Venice Film Festival, as well as being a member of Cineuropa’s board of directors – will replace Caterina D'Amico, whose mandate had been extended a considerable number of times.
“I am certain,” the mayor remarked, “that Gosetti will be able to contribute to the relaunch of this important Roman establishment as the true home of that great world that works with creativity and film-related professions in our city.”
