The latest project by Érik Canuel, from Quebec, On the Threshold, has been selected for the second European edition of the international co-production market Frontières, which will take place in Brussels from 9-11 April, during the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.
Established in 2012 at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Frontières has since developed into a biannual transatlantic circuit between Montreal and Brussels. “We are thrilled to be taking a high-calibre project like On the Threshold to Brussels this year,” said Lindsay Peters, market director. “At Frontières, we strive to strengthen the genre film connections between Quebec and Europe.”
The three-day Brussels event includes a pitching session for a selection of European and North American projects, and networking opportunities with a wide variety of prominent industry professionals from across Europe and North America.
The entire project line‐up for Frontières in Brussels will be announced in early February. Accreditations for industry delegates will open on 20 January.
