is in competition in Berlin, as well as participants from studios, production companies and state-funded agencies, all of whom work extensively with emerging film talent.

Sessions will also be run by Chris Moll, Head of Film at Creative England, Prami Larsen, Head of Film at the Danish Film Institute, Keith Potter, Project Manager at the Irish Film Board, and Dorien van de Pas, talent development consultant and Head of New Screen NL.

“We are pleased to be welcoming such a high-profile and dynamic mix of film industry professionals to TalentX,” Chris Moll said. “They offer an incredible opportunity for talent developers to discover the real-world challenges faced by emerging writers, producers and directors, and explore the skills and best-practice required to ensure new and emerging talent can thrive in a rapidly changing market.”

Creative England and their partners are at the Berlinale to promote the forum, which will explore what writers and directors really want and need from developers, successful strategies for moving talent into first, second and third features, the role of producers in bringing on talent and different international models for the development of people and projects.

The event, which will be held at the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam from 18-20 March, is supported by the EU’s Creative Europe programme.
