30/01/2015 - Creative England launches a stellar line-up of industry professionals for TalentX, and heads to the Berlinale to promote the forum

TalentX, the international forum launched by Creative England and designed for film talent developers across Europe, is attracting a strong line-up of producers, sales agents, distributors and filmmakers, ready to share their ideas and expertise. 

Representatives from StudioCanal, Screen Australia, Memento Films International, iFeatures, TorinoFilmLab, Morena Films, Sampo Media and Rotterdam International Film Festival are already confirmed, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

film profile] is in competition in Berlin, as well as participants from studios, production companies and state-funded agencies, all of whom work extensively with emerging film talent.

 Sessions will also be run by Chris Moll, Head of Film at Creative England, Prami Larsen, Head of Film at the Danish Film Institute, Keith Potter, Project Manager at the Irish Film Board, and Dorien van de Pas, talent development consultant and Head of New Screen NL.

Creative England and their partners are at the Berlinale to promote the forum, which will explore what writers and directors really want and need from developers, successful strategies for moving talent into first, second and third features, the role of producers in bringing on talent and different international models for the development of people and projects.

The event, which will be held at the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam from 18-20 March, is supported by the EU’s Creative Europe programme.
