Capatonda booming: 2 M€ last weekend, best per copy average

Success at the box office for Maccio Capatonda and his Italiano medio (lit. An Average Italian): in its first four days on show, the long-awaited cinema debut by the TV and internet star (read article) obtained 2 million euro in takings (1,9720,73, Cinetel data), slightly outshone by Night at the Museum 3 with Ben Stiller and Robin Williams (2,070,454 euro), released one day in advance, on 28 January.
Capatonda’s film earns the best per copy average of the weekend, namely 5,462 euro. The second per theatre average was recorded by Mr Turner [+see also:
